Love their sea food menu. My favorite is the roasted crab. We've also tried garlic noodles, escargot, soft shell crab, and calamari. All very good. Ambiance is relaxed, not fancy but clean. Staff are always friendly too. But. We came here one time and they DID NOT HAVE ANY CRAB. Roasted Crab didn't have crab. Lol. So, now I call first before coming to make sure. It's my favorite! :)

I had a great experience at The Roasted Crab. The service was good, and the pricing was fair. The restaurant has a clean interior and offers pleasant patio seating as well. Our waitress recommended the shaking beef, which I decided to try. The portion was large, well-flavored, and I was very happy with the choice. I'm looking forward to coming back with a group so I can try the seafood, which is priced by the pound. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience, and I would definitely recommend The Roasted Crab.

I came back here twice after my first not so great experience years ago, and I had much better experiences both times. First of all, the service has been improved big time. I do not see the same servers and the menu has newer items - perhaps they changed owners? Well, it's much better now because they added many new shell fish dishes like snails and razor clams that I was hoping a restaurant in this area would offer. Now I don't need to go all the way to south San Jose for that. My favorites are the coconut snails, salted egg sweet snails and razor clams. I will need to go back and try their scallops and big clams next time. They also have many seafood boils options. The head-on shrimps and mussels are in decent size and tasty. Crawfish was frozen but not bad for being frozen. Will be all 5-star if they have the live/fresh crawfish though. I do love that they use plate instead of plastic bags; I see no point in using plastic bags because they just put the seafood inside the bag after cooking them (unlike it's being cooked inside the bag). They offered different cocktail drinks. Last time I had the old fashioned and they surprised me with using big rock (not that many places use big rock unless it's higher end restaurants); although, it was a bit too sweet for my taste. Servers were friendly and attentive. Their music was a bit too loud though, I was having difficulty reading my articles. Opening during lunch time is a huge plus for me (most seafood boils restaurants open at 3p), because I won't have time to eat out after my child gets off from school. Would definitely recommend this place now.
